Slow is an understatement, they've done a terrible job recruiting top players in the Midwest this year with the exception of Kraemer and Eichenberg but have missed out on anyone else including to guys in their back yard. Of course the recruiting cycle isn't over yet.
We need to start recruiting Top play makers. I feel that is what we been lacking or that crazy athletic kid that doesn't have a position but will play some whare.

Yeah this class is not great. U would think we would land some top kids especially on Offense with those 2 Big time Olinemen coming.

Today is Irish Invasion Day .... 100s of prospects visiting.

That's prolly a reason 'recruiting' is slow.

Jalen Elliot 2016 Safety committed to Notre Dame 3 Star kid. He has some good offers and was one of Virginia Tech's top DB targets and they usually put out good DB's.

Kevin Stepherson committed to Notre Dame immediately following the Irish Invasion on Friday night, giving the Irish a speedy receiver from SEC country.

Yes ND picks up 2 commits from the Invasion. man this event is great for ND. I just with we got some top kids. 2 added 2 more 3 star commits. Nothing wrong with that just not exciting. I do like that DB. He looks like he will be a good one. One thing for sure ND added some speed. Lets hope we get another 1-2 kids from this.

This isn't going to be the best class but I think it will be solid. We really need some Dlinemen in this class. I want a Big time recruit on the Dline.

Also Purguy a bulk of the 1st and 2nd round picks in the NFL draft were and usually are recruits that rank about where Love, Elliott, Jones and Okwara are rated upper 70's to low 80's.

very true because these kids still have a lot to grow and learn. Im just saying we are going to lose some big time players after this year and it would be nice to have some big time names jump on board. Lets hope we finish strong like we did last year with the recruits.

We have to hope that all the O-Lineman can replace the guys they are losing, and all the young DT's (Matuska, Hayes, Cage, Mokwuah, Tillery, Taylor, Dew-Treadway, Tiassum) can replace Day and possibly Jones. DE will be more stable at the top with Rochell and Trumbetti and Blankenship but it starts getting thin after that but they still have Bonner, Blankenship and Hill on the DL/LB ranks plus rumored switches to DE of Rudolph and Deeb.

man I am excited about this year. Im hearing a lot of great things about this team. A lot of scouts love Z. They say he has a high ceiling and looks like he can be a NFL QB.

Mirko Jurkovic Jr may be ending up at Notre Dame after all though it seems to be stemming from an academic issue with Ohio State so we'll have to wait and see about that.

We keep signing 3 star players so at the end of the year we have no spots available when the 4 and 5 star players who sign late are making their decision. Why not wait until late before we offer all the 3 star players. The only salvation is that these guys seem to have a good group of offers, so hopefully they will grow into the potential that these schools see in them. Hopefully they will be 4 stars by the end of the upcoming football season.

Well, we finally got a top player. Brock Wright is considered the top tight end in the country. I feel better.

Nothing wrong with landing the top TE in 2017 just have to keep him but at least it's TE which Notre Dame are known for putting in the NFL.
