I've been feeling the same way all week. That TD return at the beginning of the first Saints game just felt like a heartbreaker for them. I really hope we come out and dominate early, even if the game ends up close, I want to play from ahead, not behind.

I'd say even a red zone interception like week 2 against SF would work. Doesn't necessarily have to be a TD for Seattle, just something that sucks the energy out of the 49ers would be awesome. Get them in a "here we go again" mindset.

I'd like to see a opening drive for a TD from the offense, that would relax me a bit. I fully expect the defense to be great.

I just don't want to see that soft defense late that keeps letting teams we have beat back in it. Nearly cost them against the Saints. Stick with the nastiness that got you there and beat their ass until the final clock tick. Stomp on them and make sure they leave town with no doubt who the better team this year was.

This could be said about both teams. We do the same thing and as soon as we start rushing 3 consistently, I want to put my foot through my flatscreen. We have a nasty aggressive defense and as soon as we start to play conservative, our defense falls apart. I can't stand it so I definitely get what you are saying.

To the OP, I don't think it will be a defensive TD or anything like that. I think it will be more likely that one of the teams pins the other so far back into their own territory, that shortened field position will be how this game is won/lost.

I agree about field position, and our special teams have been other wordly this season in that regard. I hope that helps the Hawks get better FP and a few extra points because of it.

I want to call Chris Clemons name. I feel like he's been invisible it would nice to see him help Bennett and Avril with some edge pressure.

What the defense really needs to do is not give up any big plays. I have no doubt they can force some turnovers, but Kaepernick has had all day to throw during the Packers/Panthers games and this has lead to some wide open WRs.

But yeah, given how inept the offense is right now I'd say some big plays/turnovers are necessary. I just have a bad feeling about this game and think the defense is going to need to hold SF to under 14 if Seattle is going to win.
