youre clueless. miami arena was filled with fans in the 90s for those zo/hardaway/pj brown/mashburn teams. those 90s knicks vs miami series were epic battles. miami has been a really good basketball fan base ever since riley showed up.

Gawd I remember those. I LOVED those old Knicks/Heat battles!! Tim Hardaway was one of my favorite players in the league at the time. I had a Tim Hardaway t-shirt that I used to wear sometimes for pickup games that said "It's ugly, but effective" (or something along those lines).

PJ Brown flipping Charlie Ward was funniest as shit. The all time Classic was the Mourning/Brown fight with Van Gundy hanging on for dear life.

the worse part about that fight... zo and larry johnson both threw about 15 punches.. none landed. none. now i know they had just played about 40 minutes of an NBA game, but shit.. land something.

the worse moment of my basketball fandom came in those games. alan houston hitting the game winner in game 5 (back when it was just 5 games in round 1). i couldnt believe miami got knocked out by an 8th seed. i dont even remember the game that came on after that game. but i sat there in utter disbelief for hours not moving on the couch.. expecting somehow there to be a redo. a foul called.. something.
