Is that an invitation to ask if that's a stupid question?

It's idiocy to try to logically compare franchises that started decades apart,
and that was never even the question.

The Heat are probably the best modern day expansion franchise, ever,in the league.

It is what it is.

That's an interesting topic. Spurs have been around a decade longer and have an extra title. MIA got their first within 20 years didn't they? Spurs took 23 (??) to get theirs?

Here's some fun stats:

Heat - 26 years old, 3 nba championships = 1 title every 8.6 years

Lakers - 67 years old, 16 nba championships = 1 title every 4.19 years

more fun stats:

Lakers - 5 nba championships in its first 10 years

Heat - 1 nba championship in its first 20 years

What's your point?

I said modern day expansion era.

How many teams were in the league when the Minneapolis Lakers won championships?

What were the salary cap rules?

Your getting way off point anyway.
My response was to you saying our fan base only cares about 3 players.

You just got your panties in a wad because u correctly pointed out that your fan base cares about one ( and he doesn't even play).

Spurs are exceptional, but didn't they come from the ABA?

Lets keep it real ladies: lebron leaves, the heat lose 80% of their fanbase.

You've got to be delusional to think otherwise.

youre clueless. miami arena was filled with fans in the 90s for those zo/hardaway/pj brown/mashburn teams. those 90s knicks vs miami series were epic battles. miami has been a really good basketball fan base ever since riley showed up.
