Can I ask you are serious question, and get a real answer?

How can my reproduction of actual posts on what we are discussing, be viewed as opinion vs fact?
It's not like I wrote them today. They are from before the series started.

Face it, your memory failed you on this topic. You confused me with other posters saying the Heat would do this, or that...

Hey, if were playing a lot of teams, I'd be the first to join that smack talking club.
Just didn't feel it was a good idea vs these Spurs.

So, really, whose the one who needs to " man up" here?

dude, you TRULY think i can't seperate one poster from another? LOL, it isn't MY memory that's failed here...

tell you what, YOU can keep on with this tract if you'd like. i know what i've seen/read from you...now AND in the past...

I wonder how many of the so called true Heat fans will stick with them when Lebum is in a different uniform next season. Tell us haters the truth Heat fans, 1. will you be loyal or 2. will you go with Bronnies new team. I'd put my money that they would go with #2.. Next season there wont be so many Heat threads. Bank on it.

First of all, I don't see him leaving.
Jumping ship after 4 Finals in 4 years?

IF he did though...
1. Of course I'm still a Heat fan.
2. I couldn't criticize his right to use his FA anyway he chooses, that would be hypocritical.
3. I would be thankful for all the memories, entertainment, and fun times he brought here.
4. I would hope he never wins again, because although I'll never question his greatness on the court, he's a prick.

have to agree with this. it's kinda funny, really. maybe fanship is different these days than when i was younger...

seems a lot of "fans" these days have no problem with throwing their pride down the toilet and selling out. sad, really...

Im from MI. I grew up watching the Lions,Tigers,Red Wings and the Pistons. In the end they will still be my favorite Pro teams. My avatar has the Pats logo and that is because I follow Brady, U of M product, but if the Lions some how made it to the SB and their opponent happened to be NE i would go with the team wearing the Honolulu blue jerseys

They now should be very easy to show then. Where is it?:laugh3:

The post you made yesterday implied that I said the Heat couldn't lose 4/7 to the Spurs, correct?
If it wasn't, why post it here, then?

Of course I'll say were not losing 4/7 to most other teams...if asked....and that would be accurate.

Dude, your all over the place.
Give it up...I'm done with it...until you show that post, then I'll tell you what a great, accurate, smart poster you are and how wrong I was! Glad I don't have to hold my breath waiting.

that's really my take on the subject, too. true fans hang through thick AND thin. it's a matter of pride/loyalty. when i grew up that's what most fans appreciated and respected. Lord knows what changed these days...

I think part of it is generational.
People our age, in most cases, grew up rooting for the same players year after year on that same team.
There wasn't near the player movement.

Now, in this generation, players change teams like underwear.
Younger kids become bigger fans of the players then the teams, so when the players move they move with them.

Turnup and CL, here is what I recall from the season and playoffs. Essentially, you are both correct.

Turnup and most other Heat fans spent most of the season telling us that NO TEAM could beat Miami 4/7. During the season and for most of the playoffs, that was NO TEAM, not "MOST" teams. In fact, you and many Heat fans discounted the Spurs chances when they were taken to 7 games by the Mavs in round 1.

Having said that, when the finals were set, turnup did back off of the NO TEAM can beat Miami 4/7. However, turnup did say that he felt that the Heat would win because the Heat would not lose 4 road games and that the Spurs would not win in Miami (although he did acknowledge the possibility).

That's my recollection and no turnup, I'm not digging through your posts so I can quote them.

Not really looking to go any further with this, but your recollection is wrong.
There's a Mavs/Spurs thread up...I made no such comments.
The only thing I might have said regular season is that I would take a healthy Heat team to win 4/7 against anyone..certainly never anything close to a guarantee though.

And I PROMISE you I never said the Spurs can't win in Miami.

Re-read my post. I said would not, not can't and I also said that you acknowledged that it could happen, you just didn't think it would.

Also, and again, I'm not digging through old posts, you said all season that you didn't think any team could beat Miami 4/7 and your reason was because the Heat have Lebron. You did, however, say a healthy Heat team.

I for sure did say that it would be very difficult for any team to beat James 4/7.

Who would have ever thought a 'healthy' Wade could play like this in The Finals?

No one who has ever seen him play, that's for sure. I was telling a friend of mine last night that even though I'm no Heat fan, I feel kind of bad for D-Wade. I just don't like seeing great players "get old" right before my eyes.

Spurs could be in trouble. LeBron has been scouting game preparations for tonight.

i remember a HUGE tirade by a certain Heat fan where he essentially went off because he THOUGHT(wrongly) that he'd beaten the Heat haters. now i COULD sink to his level and say "fuck you" to everyone who disagreed with him, but why? the "dynasty" died NASTY(can't help but say it, get used to it), which is good enough for me. 'sides, i have more class than that asshole, so i'll just say GREAT job by the Spurs for restoring the integrity of the game. to the Heat fans who remained classy through it all, it's YOUR damn fault that i'm not putting the full diss on these guys, though the bandwagoning LOSERS certainly deserve it...

now, if certain individuals FINALLY get it through their heads that they CAN'T tell people how to think OR feel about their team, then maybe, just MAYBE...we could get along a tad better. so DO stop with the talk of "logic and common sense"(Translation:try to change people's minds) and stop with deflecting everyone's posts to being "jealousy". it ain't gonna fly...

this couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of clowns...

Moet for all...ESPECIALLY to the fellow haters...:suds:
