FACT is, I never predicted the Heat to win this series. I'm probably the only Heat fan here that can say that.
FACT is, I said the Spurs deserved to be the favorites.
FACT is, I said I hoped the Spurs would beat OK City even though I thought they had a much better chance to beat Miami than Ok City did because there was nothing to not like about the Spurs team + I didn't want Durant to have a chance to win a ring.

How many times did I say worst case scenario was that the Heat regardless of winning or losing is still on an amazing run by at least making the Finals 4 straight times...and that any fan base would love that whether you won 2 or 3 titles during that run?

All of the above add up to me making a win guarantee in your simplistic mind?

Tough day for Heat fans but the series ain't over just yet. Yea, I am aware of the statistics and all. The likelihood of the Heat returning to win the series is not good at this juncture, but after watching sports for over 50 years, anything can happen. Losing does indeed suck and it is painful watching Father time exact his toll. It happens to the best of us, even Lakers fans. So, hang in there as the archetech, Pat Riley has some things up his sleeve, that if the Heat lose this series, they'll be back sooner than everyone wants to admit.

The Spurs have been my 2nd favorite team since Jordan left the Bulls and we entered the dark ages in Chicago. I always loves the team-first play of the Spurs and I am thrilled that the Heat will not threepeat...

The Bulls are another team-first type of team and I could only dream of them building a team anything close to what the Spurs have.
