I see we cleared a roster spot today by releasing OL, Webb... Any ideas which RB's we should be pursuing?

They talking to Lynch? Will they trade for a RB?

They just signed Zac Brooks to the practice squad - so I assume they'll promote George Farmer from there to be the 3rd RB.

Granted that's just speculation....

Bishop Sankey just became available, although I don't know whether he'd be a good fit or not.

Whats the point of having practice squad players if the team will just go a pick up washing up players through waiver wires. When you pick up a player from another team he will need to learn the teams playbook before he can go out and play a lot of snaps how is that effective? I would much rather see what our young backs can do they want to make a name for themselves rather than a 27-28 year old back that is being bounced around and cut from teams

I figured the Lynch thing would come up. He wasn't even good last year when he was healthy and in football shape, save the SF game. Marshawn never struck me as a first in, last out kind of worth ethic guy, so I have a really tough time imagining he has been sticking to a conditioning program that would make him ready even if he wanted to come back.

Trade deadline has come and gone, so that option is out too.

I think we'll pick up someone we had here in pre-season to fill the void, but it's gonna be the Thomas Rawls show down the stretch here.

Usually, this late in the season, teams pick up players that know the system or have a very short learning curve so i'm not concerned about that...

yeah... great points... Without us making a move at the RB position leads me to believe that CJ and/or Pope won't be out as long as expected...
