And I don't recall anyone every saying Jones would be the top pick. A 1st round pick? Yeah people said he could be, but I don't remember many actually projecting him there, and they definitely didn't before his Senior year.

The Jones hype was mostly after his sophomore season. It faded away fairly quickly by the time the guy actually put more on tape.

He was being talked as a late 1st early 2nd going into the draft. It was a surprise he fell as far as he did.
