I'm irritated with waiting. Get your MRI, dude! An MRI takes 20 freaking minutes! Baalke needs to make some power moves if you're a wrap for even a game. Being stuck with a 4 man rotation for even 1 game would be unfair to the d-linemen (and Dobbs).

Is the bolded part like when you see your friends at a table with a guy you don't like and you say wassup fellas and "NolanNonsense"

"Some potentially bad news for the 49ers and Ray McDonald:
McDonald did have a sizeable bump on his biceps where the muscle may have rolled to if the biceps tendon tore. If it is torn, McDonald will more than likely have to make a decision to play with it, or get it repaired, which would likely mean he’d be out for the rest of the season."

I suspect they are getting a 2nd opinion to make sure hence the reason why the MRI results aren't out yet.

I hope that is good news, but I've learned to never trust anything that comes out of Harbaugh's mouth; especially with injuries. When I see him in the starting lineup on Sunday, then I'll believe he is healthy.

Yeah, heard this on KNBR while driving to work this morning. Taking it with a pretty hefty grain of salt for now. We'll see....

I can't recall him coming out and saying a player was OK when he was, say, out for the season. So I'm hopeful this is good news. That said, might he say that about something Ray could play through but not at 100%?

Ray McDonald - DL - 49ers

49ers DE Ray McDonald has been diagnosed with a right biceps strain.

An MRI ruled out structural damage and he's considered day to day. McDonald's status for the Sunday's game against the Cardinals remains in question, but he's not expected to miss an extended period of time.
