Just read an article that quoted Coach Harbaugh saying that their toughest challenge is not knowing how Kubiak is blending his offense with the one that Peyton has been running the last couple of years. He went on to say that team's playing the Broncos around week 4 or 5 will have the advantage that the Ravens won't have in week 1. I've thought all along that what we're about to see on Sunday night will be dramatically different than what we saw in the preseason. There will certainly still be the emphasis on the running game but I think formations and when they choose to run or pass will look very different than what we've seen this summer. Can't wait for this game! Go Broncos!

That is why I feel the Broncos having Kubiak is a bigger advantage for the Broncos compared to that of the Ravens knowing Kubiak. What I could see the Broncos doing quite a bit of is that of running the pistol formation. Manning doesn't have to run as far back to throw yet it allows them to have a RB straight behind him making it hard to tell which way we will run.

Here are the injuries heading into this game...For the Broncos only Anunike did not practice today. McCray was on a limited basis. Everybody else was a full go today. For the Ravens they had Jernigan, Melvin, Perriman, and Taliaferro all not practice today. Not sure what all their status' are for the game. I do know Perriman is most likely out for the game. Jernigan is expected to be a questionable player in the game. Taliaferro is not expected to play either with a sprained MCL.

Also the team did announce their captains for the year. Peyton Manning is the captain of the offense, DeMarcus Ware is the Captain of the defense, and Bruton is the captain of special teams. They will have weekly captains to go along with these 3 but these are the 3 that will be week in and week out. I don't think any of those 3 are a surprise to anyone.

What is everybody's biggest worry for this game concerning the Broncos? For me it would have to be the fact that Sunday will be the first actual game action where all 5 OL players have played together. At this point only one of the 5 is a returning starter (unless you count Ryan Harris as he did start for us many years ago). So I could see some miscommunications happen. I'm just glad this is a home game so they can maybe talk it out without the crowd noise making it impossible.

Absolutely agree that OL is the primary concern. Blocking Doom, Suggs, et. al. is no small task, even for an experienced OL.

It is true...I'm hoping the Broncos realize they have quite a bit of experience up the middle (other than Paradis) so then they offer help to the outside with a RB or TE (prefer the TE). Can't have Suggs and Dumervil get a chance to get going. I think I would also go big sets such as 2-TE type sets as that allows us to run a lot more or at least pretend like we want to run. The Ravens like to keep Doom on the sideline in those situations so either they keep him off the field making it to where Suggs is our primary concern or they have Doom in the game and we just run it right at him like teams used to do when he was with the Broncos. Either way it gives us an advantage.

Haha well I am guessing he is just a bit smarter than me when it comes to football so if he does something other than what I suggested my guess is he knows something I don't. Now if we lose in embarrassing fashion and he doesn't do what I suggested well then of course he is an idiot and should have listened to me as of course me the couch coach always knows best.

It has to be offensive line and ST's next. Everywhere else their pretty solid. My other worry or I should say, optimistic hope, is the level of intensity Denver will show on both sides of ball for 4 qtrs. I am hopefull I won't be seeing that qualude/ valium in the Gatorade mentality the displayed one too many times under Fox and co. Excited to see this new attitude and have it showcased on the field for the whole game. I believe! I believe! :)

I just want to win.

Winning is most important but actually I want a win and " look good doing it " result. Heavy on the D kick in butt along with that please and a side of 100+ rushing yrds for CJ,thank you :)

The perfect path to the Super Bowl is for the Defense and run game to win early and for the offense to gel about mid-season and be roaring going into the playoffs.

As for these Ravens - I've got a quote for them from a guy who knew Baltimore very well - "Nevermore!"

I agree with 6482 - Talib will cover Steve Smith - and at least one penalty will be called - probably Talib.

I don't know, Steve Smith likes to get pretty physical, to me that plays more to Talib's strength.

If Harris gets Smith, even on occasion in game,I have no doubt Harris can handle anything Smith has to throw at him including the physicality part.Talib tends to let Smith get under his skin and that can cause mistakes. Harris seems to have the cooler head when it comes to a player like Sr who thrives on messing with your head.IMO of course
