That’s why I’ve been suspect about this whole ‘protect our injuries’ line he’s been taking. His actions of not pulling star players and/or not kneeling didn’t back that line of thought. It was coach speak imo

He’s kind of said it by “we’re not ready for that yet” and then follows up with the injury excuse.

Agree. Sends a bad message to the rest of the team using the injury thing tho. Easy to be vague and not bring that into it, imo

Yes, but I’m thinking he’s being more candid with the team than the media. He’s seems like that kind of guy too me

Agree. I haven’t seen this level of candid in pressers. I respect the heck out of RR. Just didn’t agree with that one thing. Or his doubling down on it.

How about we let the coach run his team and stop troubleshooting him ? We were out of both games . We weren’t winning either one of them . Don’t know why this is an issue . If RR fails he will be out of a job . Either you buy into the rebuild and how he wants to go about it or you don’t

Well I know it’s a message board but unless you are telling me we could have won both games without a doubt then what is the issue ? Plenty of teams concede games down multiple scores without being grilled yet this franchise it’s a mortal sin

My issue is detailed in my posts. Don’t consider it ‘grilling’ to disagree with one thing a coach says. Also doesn’t mean I don’t respect RR. In fact I’ve said that multiple times. I’ve got no issue with you not being on board with my viewpoint but multiple posters ALSO have an issue with the same thing. That being said, I don’t plan to go on and on and on about it. Never been my style.

I am not understanding your issue and grilling has to do with the press more then anything else. . Are you saying that because he used the excuses to prevent injuries means some sort of lack of faith in the team is to be taken away from it ? Because any other reasoning is speculation and not from RR’ s mouth . I think most of this is about expectations . RR ‘s plan is very different from what the fans want . Until you understand what type of team we really are and what is the goal of the season this year then I think this issue will be a sticking point

Have to agree with Cali and have to say we are no different than you. We are giving an opinion or wondering if as was suggested he is trying to protect Haskins. That is not a negative against Haskins just an opinion. Not sure why you are telling us what to say or not to say. Aren't we all entitled to an opinion?
