The refs in this game should not work another playoff game... in fact one in particular deserves to be suspended. Evidently the Ravens are ticked off because they were confused by the ineligible man on the 4 man OL front. How hard is it to count to f*cking 2? The two guys lined up on either side of the center are ineligible receivers - that rule has been around almost as long as the forward pass. Yet one of the refs evidently pronounced #34 was ineligible and then proceeded to tell the Baltimore defenders not to cover him. That ref should be fined and suspended.

This crew was completely inept... what a sad state of officiating that these guys were the highest rated.

... and Harbaugh is all wet with his complaining about the unorthodox formation.

Watched the play again, looks like it was a tackle eligible play with Hooman going out for a reception from the LT position and Vareen was covered by a WR as one of the 7 on the LOS - thus ineligible. However, it does not give the refs license to tell the defense who to cover or in this case who not to cover (allegedly). The refs enforce the rules, they are not active participants and therefore compromised their mandate if true.

I was pissed at the refs the moment Brady took a deliberate knee shot to the head. Then grinded my gears further with a no call on pass interference when that one guy was hugging Gronk prior to the ball getting to him
