Thought of another CB

Tito Paul.

Many of whom blame for the Giants loss for ending our perfect season.

Good call on Paul

I remember that play vividly, and it was Kent Graham that threw it

Who knows what would have happened had we won that game - the following game was in Miami, and we were never in that one - perhaps a letdown from the Giant loss, who knows

But we did finish that season pretty decent, I'd say ;)

The last few minutes of that game ... Tito Paul got himself in bad position ...

And a very familiar - younger looking - face at 8:05

I had forgotten that we still had a shot at the end ....

Elway was the best ever IMHO , but he looked as if he was running out of gas by this point ... He retired at the perfect time ..

Tito Paul had good coverage on that play. Just waited a second too long to play the ball. I think losing those two games was needed by us. Less pressure of a perfect season. More focus. We really had a few weeks prior to that where we didn't play out best. Losing those two put the final push and focus on that team. Man the glory days!

DC I agree that losing those games was not necessarily a bad thing - if nothing else, it took the pressure of the undefeated season allowed us to play each game ...

But Paul was primed to be beaten with an intentionally underthrown ball - instead, Graham throws it where Paul could have knocked it away ......

Look at this - we're dissecting a play from almost 20 years ago :)

Paul isn;t to blame any more than Rahim was to blame - it was one play .... The Bronco D should never have allowed that drive

BRONCOS ON 3 !!

Right he could have played the ball better but he had good coverage. Losing that game didn't cost us a thing anyway.
