Curious why low on conner when proving he can produce in a high octane system

I like more proven commodities.

Agreed, Aaron Rodgers is more talented than cam or Matt Ryan but in fantasy I want cam

I have to say I am at work so I haven't been able to put as much thought into it but what I do see (and I am as guilty of this as anybody)is Gordon is not getting the love he deserves here. I was never much of a believer but watching him this year I have to say he's closer to the top 5 than the bottom 5 IMO.

That's all well and good but Barkley is already outperforming Conner. I dont think the Giants passing game will get much worse which can only improve the boxes that he sees IMO.

No I agree, but the argument was you need more than one year to prove it itially. Then it was backtracked to the system

The difference between the two with "one year", is one has a pedigree in addition to the one year. Its easier to buy that he isnt a fluke, or the product of defensive attention focused elsewhere that'll change once D's have a full off season to gameplan for him. Barkley's already all that. Its been somewhat shown that when they want, D's can nearly nullify Conner

One can argue conner had the pedigree as well. He was pegged as a round one back, granted not top 5 pick, but first round pre injury

Conner was well liked before his unfortunate cancer bout but he was never considered a generational back like Barkley.

Some guys I think we be exceptional include: Chubb, Johnson, and Mixon.
