Yeah that move really still is mind boggling, hope no one claims Baker and we can retain him. He has been decent @ RR so far and pitched fine vs the Rockies the other night

With all this said, it would be really nice if Perez could right the ship soon. He will, it's just a matter of time and experience. At least they made it look like they might attempt to come back. The team should continue to improve, if you're looking for positives.

Surely the only reason they did it is they were sure he'd clear waivers. Not sure how you'd know that though.

I snatched him up in my other league from waivers this week thinking he would get back to how he was pitching in his first few starts but tonight wasn't it. I think he will turn it around tonight was more about control issues. I was glad he was pitching well to start the sea on but i have seen this before and wasn't ready to anoint him a #1A or #2 starter yet, there are more growing pains to come but he should be fine in the end

Sorry guys guess I failed... still had a good time though despite the loss. Perez sure looked like he was getting squeezed early on. Lester also looked like he was getting the close calls... well at least from where I was sitting.

I got up in the 4th, I think it was, to try the new bacon on a stick thing, and when I got back with that heart attack it looked like Perez had had his own. Gotta admit it was pretty good though... never have tried to eat a half inch thick piece of bacon before.

Hoping we.can bounce back with Ross on the Hill tomorrow.... need to continue to own the a Sox at home.

Oh... A few other side notes. Maybe Rios is pretty vain after all... His walk up music is I'm to sexy. I quickly forgave him for this vain choice after the triple though. Also thought it was funny that Sardinas' walk up music was the theme from teenage mutant ninja turtles. Beltre alternates between macho man and don't stop believin'.
