even if jinxes are real, I had no intention in doing so. This was a loss before the game even started and once it was 8-0, I was pulling for him to complete the perfecto/no-hitter. Hope Darvish can finally get that one, he's a phenomenal pitcher.

Oh, I'm not that down. A win is a win. I just feel for Yu now twice having the no-no stolen on the last out. I'm happy about the dominant performance, but you know he's gotta be pissed he came so close.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if Darvish never pitches one. He misses way too many bats not to.

And it's amazing what pitchers have and haven't gotten no-hitters. It still bewilders me how Pedro Martinez never got one.

1) Yu got run support again.
2) 2nd straight shutout/victory
3) Offense has looked better the past 2 nights. Esp Fielder.
