Thoughts on possible return for Darvish in a trade...

TK: I would think if they were to move him in a pennant race and he were completely healthy, they would have to get overwhelmed for him, and my guess would be you would go, "wow, they got a lot for him." But you can't trade him, even with free agency coming up - you can't trade him without getting overwhelmed. He's too good.

Well, I think there's the usual amount of media hyperbole you have to cut through there. However, Darvish is a TORP, and it looks like there are a lot of teams that will be in the mix at the trade deadline. It should take more than 2/3 top quality prospects to land Darvish, given the expected market. That's how I take it, at least.

In other words, yeah... if Yu Darvish gets traded, it should as part of a package that has everyone saying "Holy shit!" Maybe we send two players and the other team sends 4 or even 5 back. Something big. Maybe not "overwhelming" in our favor, but the return should be massive.
