So the ESPN crew today was bashing Wash and saying he wouldn't start Telis and that Mikolas has nothing to offer as pitcher going forward. 0-2 today guys...I am all for busting on Wash when he deserves it, but damn let him actually do something dumb before you bash him. And also Miles has been pretty damn good on the road this year, and he can hit 96-7, so I fully expect him to stick around and possibly join the BP next year.

Hopefully it'll matter not, b/c he'll have so many other memories. In fact, he may laugh about his first hit in the majors - surely he's never been known as a speed merchant - when he's sitting around many, many years from now and chatting about " remember when I scooted to 1st."

This may be an absolutely great story for him personally.
