The trade to Oakland seems to have come outta the blue to Soto. But in reality, we did him a huge favor.

Hope we didn't alienate him with the move though. We still may be in the market for another catcher for 2015, dependent upon what we see from the youngster.

what disgust me is the total lack of preparation at the beginning of the season? we had 3 real starters and 2 maybes that we gambled would be ready and we traded Kinsler for Fielder and signed Choo and stopped.

After we made those moves I wanted to sign Ervin Santana. I wouldn't mind trying to sign him this off-season. He's one we might be able to actually get. Gallardo is another one I wanted to try to acquire. I would like to add both of these guys this off-season.

I'm honestly not trolling here.... This is a serious question. How many of you like Rosales over Moreland? I'd go with Rosales because of his utility and I think his baseball IQ is 10x higher than Mitch. What upset me about Mitch is the bonehead AB's... He would often let a struggling pitcher off the hook by swinging at a bad pitch in a hitters count or by refusing to take a walk when the pitcher can't find the strike zone.

The worst part about them stopping after getting Prince and Choo to me was that I didn't want them to acquire either one of them. We had a lot of questions and signing Choo to that huge long contract was a very bad answer as was acquiring a guy who lost bat speed and therefore production the year before.

To me Rosales is a bench player on a bad team and Moreland is a bench player on a good team.

Choice has been doing better as of late and I think the club needs to see what they have in him as of now.

We saw what we had in him. He was on fire in ST then the season began and that was that. The guy is a mediocre OF so he better hit out of his shoes.
