I was just looking at the DL list for us and we've got about $24 mil there.

If Harrison is as bad as it seems we've spent about $60 mil on him. I'll state it right here, when we signed him to his contract, I thought it was one hellva a deal for both parties, but especially the Rangers.

Agreed. The Harry contract looked like a steal for the a rangers at the time.

Texas is just a mediocre team with lots of inconsistency right now. Until they start playing better as a unit these type of losses will continue to happen.

Awesome...just read that Perez and Harrison are both likely done for the year. This season was fucked from Jump street. Forget playing consistent...they cannot go a week without someone fucking exploding on them physically.

As dark as times are now I still think we have a decent shot of making the playoffs if we can can get enough guys back and they stay back. I wonder if we don't though if ownership will be willing to increase the budget substantially to extend Yu and maybe add another premium pitcher. I think if we get healthy the offense should be fine for next season. Resigning Soto maybe the best option at C.
