Same Ole crap. Can't beat a mediocre Toronto team thats going nowhere.Sure we swept the Whitesox arguably one of the worst teams ever assembled. They would suck in AAA

Since June 11, Dustin Harris has appeared to be ready for the big leagues. His slash lone between then and last night was .333/.403/.402/.805.

Then he started out tonight with a double.

Now, he has 2 doubles on the night.

Defense was a bigger problem than offense tonight. If Lowe catches that pop-up, inning shapes up differently. Would have liked my chances in the 10th with Wyatt on second base.

Jays played great defense. We could have scored more runs if a few dropped

So I am all for giving the guys in the minors who have earned it a chance in the bigs but it is much tougher in MLB. Zeke is a major league talent but he went down to practice on hittting pitches other than FBs

Not sure why he slowed up but an earlier pop up foul ground caused issues
They reconfigured lower bowl shrinking the foul ground. Lots of jut ins etc

I think the Astros during their initial tank was worse
Early 70s Rangers and Mets worse
ChiSox had good pitching

We have a ways to go
Enjoy the ride if we can avoid too much stress

The Rangers have not won 3 series in a row since May 8. Since then they have only won 2 series in a row twice.

The Sox series should have made a statement. We got the sweep but with difficuly that should have been a picnic. Could easily lost three of the four games by not scoring many runs

This year's team is currently:

51-53

They are really consistent.

We were really bad, but not 41-win bad.

We won 54 and 57 games in 1972 and 1973. The 54 wins were in a 154 game season.

It seems this board is resentful we played them and won even if cheap wins.

Guess you want us to lose so we can have lots of prospects who look good on paper but don’t get it done because our manager is biased. And they are victims. Lol. Ok
