the Manager can't make players stop doing dumb things. we got 10 hits today and only scored 2 runs. Pederson hit a triple leading off the 6th and the next 3 batters couldn't hit the ball. and they got 4 hits in the 1st. that means 6 hits in the other 8 innings and not 1 Ranger could produce unless they let the manger run out on the field and kick their butts what do you want him to do

His constant bringing in relievers with 2 outs in an inning is just cooling off the pitcher who comes in and then back out the next inning. His love for guys like Grossman and Ahmed. Duran shouldn't have been sent down. I would have sent an OFer down. Sitting Garcia against a left hander and putting Smith in unfamiliar territory who hits left handed in his place and putting Ahmed who can't hit any handed pitcher at 3rd instead of Smith. I will stop there but that one change in game 3 in Oakland is why we lost. You're right about our lack of offense. But don't make it any harder with bush league moves.

Game 2 Smith should have played 3rd and Harris in RF instead of Smith. Pederson BAVG .069 in 3 hole are just a couple of bad mgr mistakes.

Depending on veterans to much. Not giving younger players a chance. It’s obvious that Semien and Garcia are done.

I think the way we played in that postseason was the .oracle that happened to an otherwise mediocre, at best, team.

That is the drawback of making the postseason by the skin of your teeth and getting hot for the postseason. From then on the team and those who run it, think they are good enough to be champions again, and we just aren't.

That 2023 ream had two very flukey stretches. The 40-20 start and the postseason were both incredible stretches that now seem almost certainly to have been flukes.

To fix this team tje right way hoth Semien and Garcia need to be sent packing at the end of the season. I think it is too early to know if that is the case with Pederson, but that is a definite possibility. Burger, too.

A ton of Semien salary will have to be eaten to facilitate a trade. That is a tough pill to swallow, but CY better get him a large Dr Pepper because he needs to swallow that pill. That will probably hamper the team going forward to a certain degree, but it won't be impossible to overcome by plugging in some holes with cheaper options. It will require some replacing of guys from within. Those guys will be cheap and that will help make up for Semien's money that we will still be paying.

It will also require CY to put a stop to his obsession with free agent starting pitchers. Next year's rotation will have to include cheap options such as Bradford, Leiter and Rocker. They need to make sure guys like Bratt, Drake and Stephan get ready this season to be AAA starting pitching depth in 2026. They may even want to consider trading for a good AA or AAA pitcher to provide extra depth since Rosario is going to be out all next year due to him still not having TJ surgsry yet.

If they fall out of the race this season then quickly get Crim and Foscue up and get them a lot of at bats to prepare them for next year.

I would consider Sebastian Walcott for the starting 2B in 2026.

Abimelec Ortiz and Alejandro Osuna may be ready by the end of this season.

If they just have half as much patience with the young guys as they have shown with veterans I think at least a couple of them will come through.

By the end of this season it will be time for some major renovations. If we continue playing the way we have been, for much longer, those renovations could be moved up to the trading deadline.

Osuna and Ortiz both had 3 hits for Frisco today. Frisco was the only team within the organization to win today. Peyton Gray had another great relief outing.
