Huffs double should have been caught. Can’t really blame smith, he hasn’t been out there before. But almost any right fielder catches that ball

I saw Mike Trout trying to catch a ball in his new position in right field and the ball landed 10 feet behind him.

Why does Bochy like bringing in a reliever with 2 outs in the inning?

Reason I ask this is a reliever is used to coming out of the pen and pitching but by doing this they sit on the bench and after their team bats then they come back out.

No need to pitch to Bailey. This is why they need at least one guy who can come in and throw 100+ and get a strikeout in these kind of situations.

Do not see this offense getting much better. They have had time to improve. Until we get Carter & Corey back to support Smith Jung and Lankford don't look for much offense.

Your right so this team can't afford to lose even one guy to injury. Seager Jung Langford Smith all have be healthy. Even one guy out impacts the offense in a negative way

Semien
Garcia
Pederson
Tavares

4 reasons why this is the worst Ranger offense ever and currently the lowest scoring offense in mlb (3.11 rpg) .

So far a complete waste of a very good pitching staff.

I wish I saw this changing. But we saw it all last year. And they actually are worse now. Bochy and CY have to do something with these 4 guys. They are ruining what could be a really good year for Texas.

We are at 1/6 of the season’s games played. Rangers at 15-12 for a .556 winning percentage is the same winning percentage of the 2023 Rangers who went 90-72.

That 2023 team required a few trades to help them win as many as they did. They needed better pitchers and CY traded to replace those weaker parts of the team.

Three of the 2025 team's weaker parts are Garcia, Semien, and Pederson. Those three would be a lot more awkward to replace. I don't see this club casting those three aside and trading for three hitters to replace them with. They might do that in CF, but those other three guys are probably going to stay in the lineup for the duration of the season. It will be hard enough to convince CY to replace them in the offseason.

Also, that 2023 team, even with the improvements via trade, only made the postseason by the skin of their teeth. I sure hope we don't have to try and do that again

Pederson has to get better or it will be one of the worst free agent signings in major leauge history.

Garcia and Semien may not get that much better. Hopefully Carter comes back and helps the team like in 2023.

If the pitching holds up they can get in by the skin of their teeth again. I would go after Kyle Finnegan at the trade deadline if he continues pitching like he has. He’s a real closer. I don’t think Jackson has the emotional makeup to be one.
