No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
Let's see if the downward trend continues or if the team can turn it around.
Think so too and if comes here Garcia may be on his way out of here
I think the Rangers will be in on Cody Bellinger.
Can see them seriously challenging for starting positions in 2025 and probably getting some playing time in September 2024More from Scott Lucas:
DH Wyatt Langford: 2-4, 2B, BB, SB (6), .314/.455/.586
1B Abi Ortiz: 2-4, 2B, BB, .300/.350/.638
One pre-draft observation about Wyatt Langford was that he had more speed than was apparent in games. So far at Hickory, he's attempting to steal more than twice as often as during his college days
That might be hard to do if Carter and Bellinger are already here. Langford, yes, but Ortiz would be the odd man out.Can see them seriously challenging for starting positions in 2025 and probably getting some playing time in September 2024
Thanks for setting us up hereLet's see if the downward trend continues or if the team can turn it around.
If Carter is in RF, Bellinger in CF, we could put Langford in LF and maybe if Ortiz has a strong ST they might consider trading LoweThat might be hard to do if Carter and Bellinger are already here. Langford, yes, but Ortiz would be the odd man out.
Why isn’t he already on the plane?Jeff Wilson suggests Hernandez could be sent down to bring up a fresh arm.
He should be sent down to high A and learn how to throw strikes.Jeff Wilson suggests Hernandez could be sent down to bring up a fresh arm.
Bring up Bradford and Heaney to penJeff Wilson suggests Hernandez could be sent down to bring up a fresh arm.
I don't think Bochy would feel right taking a veteran out of the rotation and replacing him with a rookie. I think it would take an injury to a starter to get Bradford in the rotation.Bring up Bradford and Heaney to pen
It would depend more on whom they’re considering bringing up than whom they would move to the pen. I never got the impression that either Bochy and Maddux had faith in Bradford’ control or how long he would last in an appearance. Watching them during his appearances they were talking the whole time and they were quick to get others up in the pen.I don't think Bochy would feel right taking a veteran out of the rotation and replacing him with a rookie. I think it would take an injury to a starter to get Bradford in the rotation.
That is a problem if Bochy feels that way. You put the best bet first. Rookie/ veteran makes no difference. It is about winning and not worrying about hurting feelings. Heaney has had his chance to shine same as Perez.I don't think Bochy would feel right taking a veteran out of the rotation and replacing him with a rookie. I agree. I think big league managers feel it would hurt the morale of the whole team, veterans at least, so they try to avoid that kind of replacement when they can. That is a problem if Bochy feels that way.
