Well they used everyone in the bullpen except for Perez. So probably going make a move and bring someone up.

A lot of winnable series in there, but certainly not if they keep playing minor league level ball.

To me the pen is in a desperate situation. Who know about Eovaldi! Bring up Bradford and stick Heaney in the pen for high leverage situation. If you don’t trust your stuff you have no business being on the MLB roster

5 strong innings from Montgomery, 1 solo shot, and 1 grand slam. That’s all the positive you can say. Everything else was epically terrible.

100%. If they want to have any hope at all of turning things around and making the playoffs, they absolutely HAVE to bring in more competent pitching to the bullpen. Bradford, Speas, Heaney, someone else, anyone else… they have to DFA a couple of relievers and at least replace the awful ones with mediocre ones. Anything is better than this garbage.

If they continue playing this way, they won’t beat Oakland. They SHOULD beat Oakland, based on talent. But this current version we’re seeing can’t beat anyone.

Adolis is a slugger not a hitter and unfortunately Zeke is becoming one as well. We are on virtual playoff baseball and guys who swing off their heels and never go up the middle are a liability

Seattle now in sole possession of first place. What does everyone think about having Bochy back next year. I know he signed a 3 year contract I think. But is handling of the pitching staff is very questionable.

Yeah, I guess they had the best run differential in baseball and were in first place for almost 5 months because of just pure luck that lasted for 150 days.

I don’t believe he threw a strike at all. It was the same as earlier this season. He would not see another batter in a Rangers uniform if it were me. It isn’t like Bochy has any choices with the way this bullpen has gone awry but Hernandez is absolutely NOT an option anymore.
