Hernandez shouldn’t be here long. Can’t throw strikes

What a freaking joke of a pitcher Hernandez is….he didn’t even get the first two guys out. They got their selves out. Can’t throw strikes, you can’t pitch in the majors….DFA his sorry ass

I’ve never seen a team collectively fall this far off a cliff to where literally nothing is going right.

They can’t do anything. Can’t hit, can’t manage, can’t run bases, can’t pitch, can’t bunt, can’t even pick off runners correctly. It’s a complete and total failure at every level. It’s like they’ve never even played baseball before.

Someone needs to be fired. Full stop. They might not be talented enough to win a title or make the playoffs, but they damn sure have enough talent not to play this embarrassingly bad. Not even the awful A’s play this poorly.

I’ve seen 60-win Rangers teams execute the basics better than this.

yeah but remember, they're actually a good team
Yeah, I guess they had the best run differential in baseball and were in first place for almost 5 months because of just pure luck that lasted for 150 days.

Do you offer anything to this board other than snarky comments and attempts to start arguments?

Hernandez had the same problem at Round Rock. Had a decent era but a lot of walks. Should have never been brought up.

The way this team playing we could have a losing record at the of the season. I’m projecting 80 - 82

We have 3 against Houston, 3 against LAA and 7 against Seattle between now and end of season and 4 against Toronto.

That 17 games and we’ll be lucky to win 3 or 4 of them

I do think they will manage to beat the .500 mark, but by how much is looking more and more in question each day. With every passing game, they are slowly running out of time to right the ship. Each game adds more bleakness to the picture.

I would bring up Speas again. He still has era under 2 at Round Rock.

I wanted Otto or Speas. I thought with another chance Speas would be more comfortable this time

Couldn’t hurt to try at this point. In a bullpen full of awfulness, Hernandez manages to stand out as a whole other level of awful.

Curious what Evan Grant, Jamie Newberg, and TR Sullivan have to say right now… where they think fault lies with performance falling this far off a cliff.
