No More "Bullpen Failure"
Sometimes I think walks and HBP are the biggest enemies of a big inning. It is just a theory of mine, but I think some of our guys try too hard to take a walk. They see hittable pitches pass by without swinging, whether those pitches are first-pitch fastballs down the middle or pitches near the edge of the zone. That gets men on base and sometimes leads to a run or two, but can very often limit the damage. Sometimes it keeps any runners from scoring.
