I would say 3 games a week. Bochy usually doesn’t play Heim in a day game after a night game. You could play him a game at first and a game at DH. CY should tell Bochy if we call him up, he needs to play and not sit the bench every game.
There is no way I am wanting Lowe out of the lineup just to get Huff in there. He is hitting really well and plays good defense. Plus playing 1st may be one of the least demanding of all positions.
i would rather have Huff than Knizner but even if they DFA'ed Knizner and brought Huff up with the way Heim and Lowe are playing and hitting, Huff would be lucky to get in twice during a week. you don't bench All-Stars to give someone else playing time especially with your backup catcher
If Knizner wasn't here, Huff could back up Heim a couple of times a week, but Bochy would go with Knizner.
when would Duran get at bats if Huff hit against all LHP? Smith seems to be hitting against both right and left and plays 3B better than Duran so I would not sit him
if Knizner WASN'T here of course it would be Huff but i would assume that he would only play C when we have a day game following a night game
Every one needs a day off once in awhile. That’s when I would put Huff in there.
If they DFA,d Kninzer today, I don’t know if they would call up Huff. Bochy doesn’t seem to like him.
All I was saying is that will not add up to 3 times a week. I don't disagree with you about bringing up Huff and getting rid of Knizner.
I didn’t say 3 games at first. I mentioned a game at catcher and a game at DH. That would be my 3 games a week.
