Losing Justin foscue sucked because he was a pretty good hitter. We now have to watch Wendzel go out there and stink it up. Kid has done NOTHING.

I hope Leiter has an awesome game and it keeps him in the rotation. His lack of control in the past would just irritate the daylights out of me. But he has really improved on that part of his game. If he struggles today that won't bother me as I will attribute it to 1st game jitters and I hope they give him 1 more start regardless.

I wish they could have waited until Leiter was a little further along in his development before they brought him up. As long as this is just a spot start I guess it won't set him back. Hopefully, it gives him a taste of what it is like and gives him an idea about what he needs to work on.

I hope he gives us 5 innings. If he can do that while allowing no more than 4 runs I will be satisfied. If it goes bad, that won't mean anything about his future though. I will be optimistic and say he goes 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 4.
