Self-proclaimed Asshole
Wow, are you the Angel's poster known on ESPN as Rally Gorilla?
These are the only kinds of posts he makes.

if we can get a reasonable extension with Garza this will b a fin deal, but that is likely not to happen....if we happen to win the WS no one will care about what we gave up for Garza, thats a big if though considering our other holes....while Garza is a solid #3 with flashes of #2, he is still a rental and I think it was just too much to give up. I think if we were a little more patient we could have waited for our guys to get healthy, while getting a bat at a cheaper cost. I just hate the rental factor for what we gave up.
Will be Interesting to see where Gonzalez goes

And we are in 2nd place and getting better and healthier and 10 up on the Angels. Doesn't sound bad to positive minds.Honestly, outside of Cruz's year and Nathan's dominance in the 9th, there hasn't been a whole lot of positive this season. Certainly, Perez has been a nice surprise and Martin has swung a good bat, but otherwise:
Darvish is not the ace we were counting on. Murphy looks terrible as a starter. Andrus is having one of the worst seasons of any everyday position player in all of MLB. The defense has been a joke, especially outfield, Kinsler and Elvis. AJP and Berkman are back end of career guys with very little left. The injuries have been unreal. Hitting with risp has been abysmal. The baserunning has been like a litlte league team. Wash still seems to get outmanaged on a daily basis.
All I'm saying is one 2 month pitching rental can't and won't address the myriad of problems on this team, many of which come down to coaching and lack of talent and bad luck. I want to contend for years to come. I'm willing to ride out a tough 2013, keep our powder dry, clear some salary and keep our valuable trade assets for the offseason.
Least LuJack wasn't traded. I will suck if CJ turns into something awesome though.
Angels? I'm more concerned about the A's. And we've lost 7 of 8, are 27-31 since our good start, and can't score runs to save our lives. I'm all for positivity but how are we getting better?

If Garza pitches like the Garza we know, and we can extend him (and/ or win a WS!), then nobody will care what we gave up, even if Olt becomes another CD and Grimm becomes the ace of their staff. All you posters that want JD to trade for a player and then complain about what was given up, when you have no idea what is being given up is silly. We don't know if Olt will ever bat higher than .240 with 170 strikeouts at the ML level or if he turns out to have success like CD is having during his career year this season. Edwards could be great or anything could happen with him as well. Grimm will be a back end of the rotation guy. Other teams won't give up players for peanuts and you can't say we are giving up to much, cause we don't know exactly what the players traded will do in their careers. You have to give something up to get what we wanted. It's done and we will have to wait and see what the value ends up being
Darvish started great. He's been average to above average recently with his refusal/inability to establish the fastballDarvish has been great for us, you can take him out of ur temper tantrum
Cubs wanted Perez and LuJack...HELL NO CUBS. Hell I think Olt and Edwards alone were more than fair. Tossing in the other two worked out pretty well for Chicago. They get 4 bodies for a dude who wasn't going to stay in their system. You'd expect Edwards to be the best part of the deal.Yeah, I don't think JD was willing to part with him.
