When is MLB going to do something to stop those outside pitches from being called strikes. You cannot tell me that there is not a way thru a learned process that umps would recognize that these should be called balls afterwards. Choo should be standing on 1st right now.

Hmmm. Lot of posters still might think this game starts at 9. Unusual start.

Let me put it another way Darryl. For about 30 years, ESPN has shown MLB games, game-time as Eastern Time. Now they are listed as Central Time.

I just noticed it last night for the first time. Was wondering if anyone knew when they started doing so?

Like I said, it's no biggie, but I'm curious.

Wonder if Elvis was bunting on his own.

It sure looked like it to me. How bout you? And honestly, in that particularly situation and the way he's "not swinging the bat" it may have been a decent decision.

Didn't work out for us, but still.

Yes, because Bannister better not be that dumb. Thats a Ron Washington move with the 2nd batter of the game

Never paid much attention to ESPN but Yahoo always posts central time and CBS always posts ET.

Really?....I'll be damned. Certainly didn't know this. I always use ESPN as my source - deep seated personal problem I'm sure - and perhaps I should branch out.

They were talking about him pulling a hammy or something a few minutes ago, and this may have been why, in part, EA bunted.

Pegs keeps taking walks and he's going to get some pitches to hit out.
