Com'on now.....So if the catcher sets up in one spot and the pitcher doesn't throw it to that spot then the ump gets a pass when the ball was easily/clearly within the strike zone?

He missed his spot by almost a foot. Part of the problem is umpires set up behind catchers now instead of being centered on the plate regardless of where the catcher sets up.
