So the japanese sports media is in full force at Rangers games right now. The feed is still on and Colby is being interviewed by Japanese guys and having a guy translate for him. Unreal.

Oh that's definitely true. If he didn't stand 4 feet off the plate he might actually be able to get some of those.

Early on he was either laying off that pitch or taking it to LF. Historically though Murphy pulls off that pitch on the outside of the plate and looks to be going 180deg away from it.

Murphy never looks settled ... doing his windmill taking 5plus practice swings and then seems to rush to swing without ever being really ready.

Based on the way he was performing right out of the box I thought this would be his breakout season maybe. Was still benched him too long when he was hot IMO.

I don't think Murphy is going to have a breakout season, but he's still a really good guy.

We have the same issue with Torrealba and Napoli. But for some reason Torrealba keeps ending up in the batters box.


I'm beginning to warm up to Moreland.

Problem is, Moreland wasn't giving them any reason to play him over Torrealba, maybe now that Moreland seems to be warming up, Torrealba will sit more

Well if Moreland was raking, then Napoli would be spending more time at catcher
