Conversely if Simeon slumps then so do the Rangers

He is just so streaky and sometimes his bad streaks last weeks. Adilis is another streaky one.

Lowe seems to have reverted back to what he was before last summer.

Hopefully, Heim doesn't have another late season swoon I'm him.

Duran and Jung are still learning so they are going to be off for a week or two at times.

I think at some point we are going to need two more consistently good bats. Maybe that is a couple of guys from the minors like Carter and whoever is your favorite hitter in the upper levels. Maybe it is a trade or two or another free agent or two.

Agree. Starting pitching and relieve pitching and then a bat. Then shift the batting order around moving Semien down maybe to the middle and Lowe to the bottom third

Pitching wins the day. In July which as we all know we have not done well and we scored 5,3,11,6,2,6,7,3,2. To me with any kind of pitching we should win 5 of those games and we won 3.

They can pursue more than one at a time.

You could easily say the same for hitting w/RISP and we failed miserably. Admit we need added pitching but Gray lost two well pitched games and lost due to hitting. Feel sure he was not the only one.

Add pitching, Adjust the batting order until we find the right setup.
Hell I would put Taveras at lead off, keep Seager hitting second, either Jung or if we add a LF’er the LF’er hitting third, Garcia 4th, Semien 5th, Heim 6th, the LF’er or Jung 7th, Lowe 8th and Duran 9th

Some people have speculated that the 30 games in 31 days stretch really hurt and tired the team out, I hope that is the case because the all star break should be the cure for that.

It goes both ways in that we scored 11 runs and lost. I understand what you are saying and I know we both agree good pitching usually trumps good hitting. I am not as concerned about our offense as our overall pitching depth.

The only problem with that, is that stretch started off with them going 2-6, before they had time to get worn out from the stretch.

It probably contributed later on.

The losing actually started the day before their last day off prior to when that long stretch started. That was the game Bochy rested a lot of guys to prepare for the Rays series.

Collapsing in the last game in Boston and then getting totally raped by the Washington nationals was shocking.

Yes the rangers have had a rough stretch but overall hitting is better then most
