With Trout injury, I think the Angels wil want a ton of prospect. Better walk careful. No doubt and I would love to have the guy. But I don't want to improve the Angels for a rental. If we got him as a free agent I am all in. Of course it is not my money.
Oh tank and Rendon also went down today. Ohtani with a blister. With the season really up in the air and the probability of Trout out until September and no way of knowing about Rendon and Ohtani out for probably 2-4 weeks the Angels might consider getting what they can. Unless the Angels owner goes 10 years $650M Ohtani will say sayonaraWith Trout injury, I think the Angels wil want a ton of prospect. Better walk careful.
Moreno could also double down and pick up an outfielder and pitcher at the deadline being 4 games out of the wild card race or he could unload Ohtani for a bunch of prospects and outbid everyone in November and get Ohtani back. A lot of scenarios to think about.Oh tank and Rendon also went down today. Ohtani with a blister. I agree, but on the other hand, they are going to improve either from us or from someone else, if they decide to trade him. I read where one writer surmised that they could skip him the next time through and give him an extended break with the AS break upon us.Any news on Perez status after his drop off in velocity and control?
Think that would be enough?I read where one writer surmised that they could skip him the next time through and give him an extended break with the AS break upon us.
To me they should go ahead and IL him. At least we get another arm and best case scenario for him, he is reassessed.I read where one writer surmised that they could skip him the next time through and give him an extended break with the AS break upon us.

26 of Perez's 53 runs allowed have come in 4 startsNo way to know that until we see the results. It could be he's injured or that last year was an outlier; if it's either of those, extra rest isn't going to make a difference.
