Rangers are supposedly gonna go all-in on trying to acquire Drouin from the Lightning, i'm all for that!

Emerson Etem has been sent down to Hartford for a conditioning stint. He likely will be traded soon. That was a failed experiment, had some hope for the kid. He just doesn't fit.

Rangers acquire Nicklas Jensen and a 6th round pick in 2017 for Emerson Etem. I like it.

Rangers signed Daniel Paille, he's traveling with the team, but no word if he'll play in Carolina. Could help us on the PK, but that's about it

Boy this team is going to bad this year. On the bright side we finally have a first round pick and it will end up being pretty high.

I don't think any worse than last season....2 things stick out are brassard leaving and Hank. The Rangers have to look for future goaltending because Hank never really can win clutch games. The new kid form Ottawa was a ranger Killer he might replace Haglin with the speed and skill that he has, they never should have traded hags to begin with. So now the questions really fall hard on the new GM and he is not making the grade

I mean there is only so much he can do years of bad contracts and bad trades have left the cupboard empty and no cap space to play with. The playoff failures don't fall solely on Hanks shoulders but he was not very good this past year. Everyone in our division improved significantly and the Rangers at best stood still. So I think we will be on the outside looking in and will be that way until Hank Nash Staal and Girardi are taking up 90% of the cap.
