AgreeLooks like any improvement of the bullpen will have to come from within. Hopefully Heaney, Perez and Bradford can make it as relievers. I'm confident that Heaney can, cautiously optimistic about Bradford, and not very confident in Perez.

Spoiling my funWe get it
You mean Chapman and the other guy that came over with Jordan Montgomery, right? It's not enough.you mean other than the two BP we've traded for, right?
Not feeling any confidence with the 3 pitchers he mentioned or with Leclerc. So basically we have Burke, Smith, Chapman, Sborz and Stratton and that’s ityou mean other than the two BP we've traded for, right?
Stratton hasn't been very good in his career, either. So not sure he's all that of an upgrade. Not feeling any confidence with the 3 pitchers he mentioned or with Leclerc. So basically we have Burke, Smith, Chapman, Sborz and Stratton and that’s it
That is the same tact they took in the offseason. That is how they will view it from now on. CY learned that very well from JD. In other words, it is a flaw that will continue to plague us as long as CY is here.Looks like any improvement of the bullpen will have to come from within. Spitballing or not there is some merit in what you're pointing out.IF Eovaldi is able to come back in a few weeks, the rotation likely ends up being
Eovaldi-Scherzer-Montgomery-Dunning-Gray. Maybe instead of Gray or Dunning, Bradford could stay in the rotation as the #5 pitcher and one of Gray/Dunning could get moved to the pen to try to improve things there. Just spitballing.
I wouldn't take Dunning out.IF Eovaldi is able to come back in a few weeks, the rotation likely ends up being

Only included him because I didn’t know anything about him and they did trade for him.Stratton hasn't been very good in his career, either. So not sure he's all that of an upgrade.
It's definitely a problem. Not wise to just assume that a guy used to being a starter can make it as a reliever. That is the same tact they took in the offseason. That is how they will view it from now on. CY learned that very well from JD. In other words, it is a flaw that will continue to plague us as long as CY is here.
That's why the lack of bullpen acquisitions in the offseason is not a dead horse issue.
That's understandable.Only included him because I didn’t know anything about him and they did trade for him.
