No More "Bullpen Failure"
The Astros, Christian Javier to have TJ surgery.
Wow he is a decent pitcherThe Astros, Christian Javier to have TJ surgery.
Starting to make sense why Carter was struggling. Any injury associated with the back can be debilitating as I can vouch for thatFrom Kennedi Landry:
Bruce Bochy with “not great news” on rookie outfielder Evan Carter. Bochy said Carter will be out for about a month or more.
“It’s a little worse than we thought. It's not a stress fracture, I think we’re calling it a stress reaction.”
The offense has been the issue here for quite awhile. Not having Jung hurts but it’s more than that. Evan Carter injury has played a big part as well as Langford not producing more than maybe we would expect. If you look up and down the lineup just about everyone is down from last year. We have gone from a very good offense to a below average offense in a year. From Shawn McFarland:
Bruce Bochy: “You ought to be allowed to give up three and still win a ballgame.”
That might be the best quote to sum up the various offensive struggles the Rangers have faced in the last month or so.
We also have a power shortage from quite a few players in our lineup. It is nice when you can drive in a couple of runs with one big swing. The offense has been the issue here for quite awhile. Perhaps a trade in the offseason is the answer. Too early to get into that but look at the impact Soto has had for the Yankees. Just a thought.
Maybe it’s as simple as Jung returning, Langford improving and E.Carter eventually healing. May have to have to wait for 2025
Facts are as they are. Too bad for those who can't face them. Until they do, they can't change them. Fact Jack! lolJamey Newberg mentioned our 40-20 start to last season. When I mentioned our 79-83 record since then, it upset a few of his Twitter followers. Some folks are a little to easy to upset. Lol
We are 79-83 over our last 162 regular season games.

Yeah, we basically had two hot streaks last year. The second occurred at the perfect time. Without that first one though, the second one would have not had a chance to occur. I just don't know if this team has a 40-20 stretch in them. We need a better constructed team for continued success. Can't take that WS away from us though.....we earned it. All I care about right now is them figuring out how to score runs
Where does the constructuring start concerning offense? IMO it starts with a strong CF, a good back up catcher and possibly 1B. Defense: Improved BP.Yeah, we basically had two hot streaks last year.
