He’s not a real closer. He’s turning into Will Smith real fast.
Now it’s coming back to haunt them. Never was comfortable with Luke Jackson as a closer.A team with no closer, that doesn’t go out and sign one or sign the one they had the year before that had success is just
Hope he continues to hit. Would like some of these good young prospects be given a chance, especially If this offense continues to struggle into the summer. Two more hits for Osuna tonight.
I think we both agree Jackson is not the answer to close. I am just baffled the team went into the season not emphasizing the closer role.Like I said before, just tune in for the ninth inning to see how the game turns out.
Maybe this beating will kickstart the hitters going into May.
The decisions on how to spend a limited budget were very questionable.I think we both agree Jackson is not the answer to close. I am just baffled the team went into the season not emphasizing the closer role.
We didn’t need Pederson and that money would have solved the closer role and probably didn’t need quite 17 mil a year to solve it
I was surprised when they named him the closer. I thought they would go with Martin.I think we both agree Jackson is not the answer to close. I am just baffled the team went into the season not emphasizing the closer role.

But Crim won’t be called up and Pederson will still bat cleanup as a .100 hitter because management has to save face and won’t admit that up to this point in time both these off season moves have turned out to be major F**K ups.I didn't realize that Jake Burger has options left.
