Chris Martin looks terrible right now which I fully expected. He didn't have a great ERA last year. His pitches to Adell never changed eye level and he kept fouling them off and I thought for sure he would hit one out of the park. He didn't but he wasn't far from it. Glad Bochy didn't bring him back out in the 8th.

Whoever this Peyton Gray relief pitcher we picked up this year is has pitched well so far. In 5 innings has not given up a run and struck out 9 while giving up 2 hits and 2 walks. Threw 2 innings tonight and struck out 4.

The only thing is, he is 29 years old and in AA. He has spent the last 3 years pitching in Indy ball and in Mexico. I would like to see him in AAA and see if that success continues.
