I really don’t get why big market teams like the Yankees, dodgers, and Red Sox are so reluctant to deal prospects.

They’re one of the few teams with the unique ability to throw money at most of their problems and fix them. You’d think those teams would be more aggressive......
I think the Yankees are going to have some salary issues in a few years and their farm has just matured.

Red Sox might have assessed they have what they need by adding Cashner.

Bad baseball moves equals bad baseball teams. Ownership and FO both have squandered opportunities to improve this team. If had about enough of both parties

Since Odor hits so well in Seattle, can they trade him there on the off season.

I swear if you remove Odor’s stats against seattle and Kansas City he would be hitting .160 or .170

He feasts off bad teams then disappears when we play someone good.

So much for a shutdown inning. Minor is no ace.

Give the guy a break will ya?

He and his family have been freaking out about the possibility of getting traded the last week or so.

There is no doubt that he wanted to stay put and it seemed unlikely that he would be a ranger until probably 10 mins before the deadline.

Nope. I didn't like his attitude during the deadline. I'll give him as much as a break that as you gave Moreland.

And that is the fault of the front office who can't keep their big yaps shut, can't say as if I blame him if he's pissed at them.

Agreed. He whined and then he couldn't handle the same pressure that dozens of players put up with every year.

No different than any other guy you find listed on mlbtraderumors every deadline. He handled it much worse than a lot of guys do.

And it showed in his performance to this very day. Probably a very good reason he’s still with this team.

He has had more than 10 AB against 13 teams. His top two averages against those individual teams are .280 and .259. You guessed it. Those teams are the Royals and the Mariners respectively. Against everyone else he is hitting .165.

I have had my shares of issues with our front office and JD in particular. There were lots of issues prior to this past year. Then this past year we have had the following.

Too many TJ pitchers in the rotation.

Didn't get rid of Choo in the offseason.

Didn't trade Minor in the offseason

Handled Calhoun wrong for the better part of the year.

Handled Odor wrong all year long, and especially in not sending him down when he still could be sent down.

Didn't trade Minor, Choo or Pence at the deadline.

I believe we had a higher draft choice not sign with us than most any other teams had.

Refused to commit to a rebuild program and instead tried to go half way in and half way out.

Is too committed to Mazara and wouldn't send him down.

If someone can think of any thing I missed please feel free to mention it.
