Offense he is bad. Defense he is about s good as it gets.

I think you will see at least one of them if Trevino stays on but both if he does not. Hard to replace both.

It’s not a matter of replacing them between them they bring less than any FA catcher that will be available and for about the same amount of cash or less

I personally thought he needed to be given 1 more year and then decide. What is playing Frazier there doing for us in regards to the future.

This is a perfect time to give suspect players more time since this team is not going anywhere. Guzman can not be questioned on defense. Offense he was bad but so are so many others so why not sit Frazier and give Guzman time at the plate to see if he can work something out. If he can not, nothing lost. Seems fair that he should get the opportunity when guys like Mathis Odor Chirinos Santana and on and on are not much better. Just an idea.

I hope not... think we pick up one fairly major league ready on a MILB contract. Think Sam Huff has to be on 40 but doubt if he gets playing time or added to 25 to start clock.
Do hope Trevino gets opening day next year.

I may have misunderstood what you said so if I did sorry about that. I think in regards to Trevino you pretty much are saying he will be our starting catcher and I was thinking you were saying he would not be. As far as who will be his backup you could be right but that doesn't matter as much to me.

What you just said makes no sense. Have another MD-2020.
No one said we want to put up with his hitting. Just want him to play and see if he can figure it out since the team is down the drain.
