Seriously though. Something has got to be done about all the walks relievers are giving up. And we need to see Chirinos behind the dish way less. He just doesn't call a good game.

On another note Seattle went in a different direction. Some call ups and their pen is doing pretty good...except for last night.

I am looking forward to seeing how Lucroy can affect Derek Holland.

I hope they are planning on skipping the next time the 5 spot in the rotation comes up because I am not sure if Holland is ready yet. At least not based on his last rehab start. It would not hurt for him to have one more.

I think they are weighing the benefit of doing that versus the benefit of giving all of the starting pitchers some rest. I get the feeling that they will come down on the side of giving the starters another day of rest and thus bringing up Derek for this weekend.

DeShields, Rua, and Stubbs all in the lineup at once... ouch. If the game doesn't get rained out, I sure hope Yu brings his A game because run support could be hard to come by.

That is like picking the lesser of two evils. Right now our #5 starter is not a good one.

I really do not get sitting so many starters at once thing but our offense has been pretty dismal regardless who starts. At least Beltran, Beltre and Lucroy are in there. I wish some of our hitters would take a page from Beltran and watch how he goes with the pitch. I really like his approach.
