His arm is absolutely terrible, but some of it could be the ankle. It's hard to gauge him right now because he's hurt. I just never knew he was quite this bad in the OF.

How do you feel about wanting to finish with one of the 10 worst records so we have a protected 1st round pick. I know people hate to think about it, but we're probably going to look at signing a pitcher that will receive a QO.

He has been hurt and his OBP was good early and so on but he's a bad outfielder. Cruz is probably better and thats saying a lot. He is a true leadoff guy but now is not even being used there because of injuries but based on money and years, it looks like a significant overpay to me. Still like the guy a lot and hope he gets through his injury but he's being paid a bunch to be that bad defensively

I mean if we have to suffer through the rest of this season, then that would at least be a nice consolation prize...and I do think there a reasonable chance we do have one of the 10 worst records.

I take some solace in the fact that I think this season is a "one off" due to the injuries. We get everybody back next year, we will be competitive...but we do need to address the pitching however, since Perez won't be back until mid season..
