I saw that and its not either.Derek Holland set to make his return to the rotation in place of Yu Darvish | SportsDay
During a briefing before the game, pitching coach Doug Brocail allowed that Darvish had experienced some soreness in his arm, but called it "good" soreness. He explained that Darvish had continued to work on the arm extension on his fastball and slider and that the correction had led to what he described as typical post-throwing soreness.
I hope this is accurate and not another case of the Rangers trying to ignore an injury.
Thanks for the clarity. AARP folks need a little help. lolSaddles that was supposed to say I saw that and hope its not either.
That's what I figured.Saddles that was supposed to say I saw that and hope its not either.
Schoenfield actually took ineptitude to new levels with that one. The Ken Giles bulletin board quote incident happened back in June, but he wrote about it thinking it just happened yesterday. Just awful.David SchoenfieldSweetSpot blogger
So here's how the night went for the Astros: Adrian Beltre hit a home run from his knee and then Ken Giles blew the game in the ninth -- after saying on Monday that the Astros are more talented than the Rangers. Those Astros who are now 3-15 against the Rangers and have seen their playoff odds fall to about 6 percent.
One last tiny jab. Tryng to keep perspective with our history but sour grapes. Have to wonder if this account is legit or just a bit. But if this the year of the luck and we are luck. Bring on the luck
After tomorrow, the Rangers have 4 teams left on their regular season schedule. Their records are (in the order we face them): 62-82, 63-81, 64-81, and 61-83.
Now, I know that in the past our Rangers have sometimes been known to play down to the level of their competition. But even with that considered, I've gotta believe that there is at worst an 8-7 record looming against those 4 teams. But if we take them all seriously, there's no reason we can't clinch home field advantage throughout. That schedule is as cupcake as it gets, especially considering most are home games.
When you go yell out to Yu to fully swallow his Viagra....He will no longer get a stiff neck.
I guess I will go to the game that Yu pitches in. He had better not come down with a stiff neck this time or I am going to take it personal. lol
No doubt. My 11 year old son saw the .063 BA and asked me why he was batting at that point in the game. Of course I told him there is a 15% chance Joey puts one in orbit and all will be well.the Gallo PH was certainly questionable in the spot he was called upon
Indeed."Twelve of the Rangers’ 15 wins are by two runs or fewer. Eight are by one run." That is what you call clutch.
I told him there is a 15% chance Joey puts one in orbit and all will be well.
Wow what luck! /s
