Bishop is the goalie that played very well for them. Kid is a giant in net. Devils had trouble against him and I thought he would be their guy going into the playoffs but apparently not.

The Sens just aren't a deep enough team to beat the Rangers. They hung with them for most of the game but then had a huge lapse and that was it. This will be an uphill battle for the Sens now and game 2 is a must win now. If they lose that game then they have NO chance.

One other note...how is it that Alfredsson at 39 is still the Sens best player? Show's how awesome he is but it's also pretty sad that other guys couldn't step up a bit...

Tell me about it. Cowen messed up but Gonchar could have bailed him out. Instead he let Gaborik just walk it to the net and it was the worst thing he could have done. Force him to try to pass and if it gets through it gets through but don't give him a freebee...
