Great point, so he definitely has to be activated earlier than my guess. I think he can be activated July 2 and still get the 90 days in though. That would give him 30 days in July, 21 in Huly and 29 in September.

Of course, that means he couldn't go on the DL at all after he comes back. If he could be healthy enough by mid-June that would give them some wiggle room in case he did need another 15-day stint at some point.

Bradford or Lorenzen


That is one too many That also leaves out Latz. It also assumes no trade deadline pickups. Someone will likely be hurt by then so I doubt we will have too many.

So I know we would have Eovaldi, Scherzer (if he stays healthy), deGrom and who are your other two? I would think that Bradford right now is right behind Eovaldi.

I think Mahle is in there ahead of Bradford. As fat as after deGrom comes back, during the regular season, it is hard to say who the 5th guy will be. Between now and then a lot could change, but it is hard for me to see Bochy sticking with the young guy over that many veterans.

It will be a lot of fun to see who pitches the best between now and then.
