It looks so incredibly bleak for us White Sox fans right now. I know everything can change in a season but at this point I can't see how we're not a doormat for the next 2-3 years minimum. Complete...Dumpster...Fire.

Just read the article and was about to post it in here, but you beat me to it. This is about as damning a take on the state of this organization as it gets. I buy everything Middleton says 100%, it really encapsulates as to why our team is full of such underachievers.

fact is we haven't even won 2 games back to back yet.
i hear what you're saying and yes, they look terrible atm. maybe i just don't believe my eyes yet. still, bounce-backs have happened many times and if they still look this bad after those 3 important players return i won't bring it up again.

i haven't read anything about the 'culture' in the clubhouse. do you have a link to anything about this? truth is i've read the opposite.

Timmay gets a 6 game suspension for his duke out with Jose Ramirez, who received a 3 game time out. Sox manager Pedro Grifol, along with Guardians manager Terry Francona, 3rd base coach Mike Sarbaugh, and Guardian reliever Emmanuel Clase each received a one game suspension as well.

I get that you want leadership from your veterans, but what about actual management? It should start with them, not waiting for a random 33 year old to make it happen. Not exactly thrilled with Grifol’s comments either.
