I get that you want leadership from your veterans, but what about actual management? It should start with them, not waiting for a random 33 year old to make it happen. Not exactly thrilled with Grifol’s comments either.

Well we already know that Rebuild the Sequel is already upon us. Rebuilds should only occur once in a baseball generation at most, yet here we are less than 7 years into the first one, and we might need to truly start from scratch when it's all said & done. Pathetic by anyone's definition. Which is why this shouldn't happen under the current management due to its utter failure. The Sox are making headlines of late for all the wrong reasons and it's safe to say at the present we're Baseball's punchline. Reinsdorf obviously can't be forced to do the right thing by selling, but at least he could take the next best step and can all upper management. By that we're talking every phase of this organization.

Not defending Hahn whatsoever, but he's not the only exec who needs to be tossed. As the old saying goes, the fish rots from the head down. They need to pretty much clean house.

this is why i hate yasmani. 1 out man on first. 3-2 on the batter. the runner takes off, the batter does a check swing and thinks it's ball four, but he goes around and is called out. BUT ... yasmani is too fucking stupid to throw the ball to 2nd. he just assumes it ball four! puts the lead run in scoring position because he's too fucking stupid to play his position. i still remember all the 'fans' here who swore he was the second best fielding catcher in the game. i've watched him make so many terrible plays and it still makes me sick how much they paid for this loser.

that's a good thing. i presume the point is to discourage teams from folding early and playing bad just to get a high draft choice.

This ship is sinking with Yoan Moncada. I say fitting. He is the player I will always think of when we reminisce (not-so-fondly) of this "rebuild." Buncha potential...Minimal results.

I don't really know how I'd react if the Sox moved and were no longer the "Chicago" White Sox. That would suck. I'd probably stop caring that much about baseball because I can't see myself caring as much about the "Nashville" White Sox or adopting another team and having the same passion.

Hopefully we don't have to find out...Reinsdorf is probably just posturing for more taxpayer bucks...but ya never know.

I'm with you on the Nashville Sox - what a yuck factor that name carries. But I'd be big time for them leaving 35th & Shields and relocate to the Burbs, which is where the majority of their fan base resides. I've felt from way back in the day that this should have been their course of action instead of simply moving across the street.
