Maybe I’m reading it wrong but it Looks to me like he only costs a team $13.5M this year and just under $22M next year. If anything his contract makes him even more desirable. All of the dead money stays with the Rams so they’d be trading their best player and taking a bunch of dead money. The return would probably have to be pretty high for that.
thats kinda how I read it too.
So to me why would the Rams trade him?
It would have to come with a high price & maybe they negotiate some of that money owed to transfer to new team?
Whatever it is. The trade would probably be massive. because the new team would have him cheap. Unless they give him a new contract.

I suspect he wants a new contract to accept a trade unless the dumpster fire in LA continues. Then he may just want to get the heck out. Incredible player but also very dirty and a dick.

Kinda surprising a team like the titans only have 5 while a team like carolina has 8. Definitely feels like Tennessee should have more than that

Nobody should include Cousins. I think if you think Rodgers is going back to MVP form then thats a good list. I do think Rodgers might actually be 5th or 6th, though

If you gave him truth serum, I don't think Cousins would include Cousins in his top 5. JJ has Rodgers way too high after last year though.

Rodgers will bounce back with better receivers and a better offense. They really gave him nothing after paying him. Silly Packers.

He brought in some of the same scrubs that he had with Lazard and Cobb. The Packers' biggest mistake was extending and not trading him in 2022, they would have gotten a lot more for him.

Wilson is much better than his receivers last year. Corey Davis too.

Watson was no slouch once he got healthy and comfortable. Wilson is better, but it's not necessarily a huge gap.
The amazing thing about Watson was that in 2020 his last great season, he threw for 4800+ yards and 33 TDs. He led a 4-12 Houston team, where he had zero comeback and zero game winning drives that season. He had zero in both categories last season too.

Yea, kinda agree here. The roster difference really isn't much on the offensive side. Jets D is better than the Packers though. Does Rodgers have a real bounceback at 40 in him is the question, and how do they handle early season adversity? Their early schedule is brutal and they could be staring at a 1-5 record at their bye week. All the hyped up NY media sharks will be circling and how do those young players handle it. Or, more importantly, how does Rodgers deal with it.

Not the Watson I was referring to...

If they can't win with Rodgers then they needed a new coach anyway.

The early schedule only helps them see where they need to be. 2 super bowl teams and the top 2 division opponents.
